Adding Objects to Favorites
You can add objects (folders and document files) and saved searches to your favorites in yuuvis® RAD client. You can quickly access frequently used objects via the Favorites area in the Main menu. Saved searches that you added to your favorites will be shown on the dashboard of yuuvis® RAD client.
See Adding Saved Searches to Favorites for information on adding saved searches to your favorites.
Adding Objects to Favorites
Click the Favorites icon in the header area of the object area to add objects to your favorites. A save dialog in which you can assign a title to the favorite appears. After saving, the favorites icon changes color and the object is added to the Favorites area in the main menu. You can edit the name of a favorite using the
Favorites icon only when creating the favorite.
As another option, you can use the Add to favorites action in the
Actions menu for one or more selected objects. If you add several objects at the same time to your favorites, you cannot name them yourself. The names of the favorites are automatically generated from the metadata.
Managing Favorites
You can manage all your favorites in the Favorites area in the main menu. You can open the Favorites area by clicking the Main menu icon or via the
Favorites icon on the yuuvis® RAD bar.
In the case of smaller monitors or browser windows (<600 pixels wide), the Favorites,
In-tray,
Inbox and
User documentation icons are hidden in order to better display the yuuvis® RAD bar.
The Favorites area is subdivided into the following areas:
Removing Favorites
Click the Favorites icon in the object area again to remove an object from your favorites. As another option, you can use the
Remove from favorites action in the
Actions menu of the selected object(s).
If you want to remove an object that has already been deleted in the system from your favorites, click the Remove from favorites button in the middle of the object area.
Adjusting the Layout
You can change the layout of the areas (see Hiding and Undocking Areas). You can also change the arrangement of the aspect areas to your liking (see Object Aspects).
