Connecting yuuvis® RAD agent
You use the optional yuuvis® RAD agent extension to manage the editing of yuuvis® RAD document files with local applications. It add several new functions to yuuvis® RAD client:
- It makes it easier to edit a document file using the application configured in Windows (see Opening and Editing a Document File Locally).
- It allows you to transfer the document file as an attachment to an e-mail program (see Sending E-mails).
- It makes it easier to transfer a document file from Microsoft Office or Outlook if appropriate yuuvis® RAD add-ins are installed (see yuuvis® RAD Office Add-In and yuuvis® RAD Outlook Add-In).
Whether yuuvis® RAD agent is available in your yuuvis® RAD client depends on the configuration of your yuuvis® RAD system. Your administrator can also specify that yuuvis® RAD agent cannot be used or that no changes can be made to the settings in yuuvis® RAD agent.
