The Settings Menu
Use the settings menu to configure the main settings of your yuuvis® RAD client, such as the language settings, the locking of document files that are open for editing, or your substitution rules. Open the settings menu by clicking your profile picture on the yuuvis® RAD bar and select Settings from the dropdown menu.
The following settings can be configured:

Controls the behavior when the Open document file in local application action is executed to locally edit yuuvis® RAD document files using yuuvis® RAD agent (see Opening and Editing a Document File Locally). These setting options are only visible if the Use installed agent checkbox is ticked.

yuuvis® RAD client allows you to save your local settings on the system server. This means that your settings (such as the width of table columns, aspect area widths, or the layout of the object area) are retained even when you reset your local or virtual work computer. These centrally stored settings are also always available and up to date on other devices, such as a tablet.
To ensure that your individual settings are available centrally, you will need to save them on the system server by clicking the Save in the system button. If the settings are saved on the system server, they are automatically loaded after you log in on a different work computer.
- Save in the system
Saves your personal settings for the local workstation you are currently using on the system server.
- Load from the system
Writes your individual settings saved on the system server back to the local workstation you are currently using.
- Reset to default
Deletes all your personal settings saved locally and on the system server and resets yuuvis® RAD client to the default settings.

The Reset to default button deletes all changes made to your dashboard (see The Dashboard) and resets it to the default settings.
If your administrator has also set up an automated login procedure for the yuuvis® RAD system, then you do not have to log out when you close yuuvis® RAD client. In this case, the Log out button is no longer displayed in the settings menu.
You can find information on the licenses used by you in the Information about the product area in the Main menu.
