Document Display Window
Open the document content by double-clicking an image document in a hit list or from a folder window or by selecting the Open function in the context menu. Depending on the document type, the following document display windows will be opened:

Image documents For image documents (black/white, color, and grayscale images), the document is opened in the image view. The image view allows you to edit the image or to scan it for text content using OCR (see Image View). |

Videos Video files are displayed in a video window that also provides a played function (see Editing Video Documents). |

W-Documents W-Documents are opened in the associated Windows program. They are checked out when opened and can be edited and checked in again in the Windows program (see Editing W-Documents). |

E-mails E-mails are opened in an e-mail window (see also Editing E-Mails). |

XML documents XML documents are displayed in a browser window (see Displaying XML Documents). |

Container documents With container documents, you decide whether the container opens or the content is extracted (see Editing Container Documents). |
For documents without pages, the index data form is opened (see Documents Without Pages).
You can use the mouse to change the size and position of the document display window.
Both you and the administrator can configure a confirmation dialog to appear before opening large documents (see 'Confirm' area ).
