Installing enaio® exchange-ng

enaio® exchange-ng is installed via the MSI package exchange-ng.msi located in the \Backend\Exchange NG directory.

The following components are required for installation:

• .net 8.0

After installation, links to the enaio® exchange-ng Administrator administration component and the enaio® exchange-ng Monitor runtime component will be shown on your desktop.

The enaio_exchange-ng-service service is installed. The service must be started if you want to configure and perform import operations.

Object Definition

E-mails and attachments are transferred to a preset object definition.

The asobjdef.xml object definition file is included in the installation data. Transfer the objects from this object definition file to your object definition.

The object definition can be edited. Exchange data fields are assigned to fields of the enaio® object types by way of the internal names. The internal name may not be changed.

Access rights to the object types must be configured in enaio® administrator.

Licenses

For enaio® exchange-ng you need a license for the 'OSX' module. You can manage licenses and license files via enaio® enterprise-manager.
