Configuring enaio® exchange-ng

enaio® exchange-ng 11.10 »

enaio® exchange-ng is configured in enaio® exchange-ng administrator.

enaio® exchange-ng administrator can be launched via the link on your desktop.

The enaio_exchange-ng-service service must be started if you want to configure and perform import operations.

It is configured on seven cards in the Home area. Configurations of cards build on each other and should be performed in this order.

  • Server

Set up the connections to enaio® server, the LDAP server, and the Exchange server. The connections can be checked.

  • Users

The user data from the LDAP server is retrieved and shown. Users and groups for which e-mails are imported can be specified.

  • Index data

The data fields of Exchange e-mails are assigned to the enaio® e-mail fields, while the data fields of attachments are assigned to the 'Attachment' object type.
The default assignments correspond to the object definition.

  • Filters

Filters specify which Exchange folder e-mails are imported from based on which criteria (e.g., age or size).

  • Actions

Filters and index data assignments are combined and filing settings are defined for actions. You can also specify whether and which actions are carried out for imported e-mails with the original copies in Exchange.

  • Profiles

Profiles are used to compile actions for groups, which are then executed in enaio® exchange-ng Monitor.

  • Logging

The log level and the path for client and server logging can be configured.

In addition to navigation via the Home area and the cards, a navigation bar is also shown on the left-hand side and additional context-dependent navigation options are shown on each card.
