Task Deadlines

Tasks can be assigned a due date in enaio® coLab. This can be done both when creating the task and later on. Due dates that have been set can also be changed or cleared later on. Each project member can set, change, and clear due dates.

You cannot assign the due date when creating the task in the files view for tasks with a file link, but only when you edit it later in the tasks view.

Viewing Task Deadlines

Due dates of tasks are shown in the tasks view (in the Due on column in the task table) and on the project’s home screen of the respective project member to whom tasks with due dates have been assigned.

Due dates in enaio® coLab are for informational purposes only. Once elapsed, due dates are not highlighted. Project members are not informed separately about elapsed, changed, or cleared due dates.

It is possible that the tasks view and the task area on the project’s home screen have been hidden in the settings of enaio® coLab (see The General Settings Area).
