Sending Objects

enaio® webclient 10.10 »

You can send objects like folders, registers, and document files by e-mail in enaio®. You can send document files both as a file (contents of the object) and as links. Folders and registers can only be sent as links.

When sending as a link, enaio® webclient generates an e-mail with the following links in the content:

Not every link is supported by every enaio® client. See below for an overview of the links supported in the different enaio® clients.

To send objects by e-mail, follow these steps

  1. Select an object (document, register, or folder) you want to send (e.g., in a hit list, in the inbox, or at a filing location).

  2. Open the context menu.

  3. Click or tap on the Send e-mail icon Send e-mail icon in the context menu.

A submenu with different dispatch options will open.

  4. Select a dispatch option:

    • Send reference icon Links: You send links to the object, which allow the recipient to open the preview, the object, or the location of the object.

    • Send content icon Content: You send a file (the content of the document). Recipients who do not use enaio® can open the exported file directly.

The dialog will open with an e-mail form.

  5. Enter the data for e-mail dispatch and click or tap on the Send button.

If an e-mail address is stored in your user profile, it is automatically transferred to the From e-mail field and cannot be edited in the e-mail form. The user profile is managed by your administrator.

If you want to send the e-mail to several recipients, please use a comma to separate the e-mail addresses.

The object is sent.
