Editing Saved Searches
If you have created a saved search request yourself, you can edit the saved search parameters and save them again. There are several ways you can edit saved searches. You can edit saved searches in the Saved searches area in the Main menu and in the search dialog.
Editing Saved Searches in the Main Menu
In particular, you can modify the search criteria of the metadata search in the Main menu > Saved searches. For example, you can:

change the name of the saved search request.

show and hide the dynamic search fields on the search mask of the saved search request.

remove or change settings that limit the global search to metadata or to document content, or
-
modify the search criteria in the search fields of the edit menu for the saved search request.

Open the Saved searches area in the Main menu.

Choose a search request in the list of the saved searches that you want to edit.
The search menu and the share menu of the selected search request is shown in the edit area.

Click the Edit search button in the edit area.
The edit menu of the selected search request is shown in the edit area.

Modify the search criteria of the saved search request in the edit menu.
After entering three or more characters, you will be shown a list of possible search terms in the text input fields.
You can enable the Search field icons in the edit menu of the search to determine whether the corresponding search field is shown or not when executing the saved search request as a dynamic search field for entering additional search criteria.
If a Search field icon is grayed out in the edit menu of the search request and cannot be enabled, then this dynamic field cannot be displayed and used to enter additional search criteria into saved search requests.

You can save the changes by clicking the Save button in the edit menu.
The search menu of the saved search requests are shown in the edit area, together with the refreshed display of the expected hits.
Editing Saved Searches in the Search Dialog
You can adjust the search criteria of the object properties, in particular, in the search dialog (see The Search Dialog) such as:

change the search criteria of the object type.

modify the search criteria based on the creator and creation date.

adjust the search criteria based on editor and editing period.
-
change the search criteria based on file type, file name, or file size.
You have the following options to open saved searches in the search dialog for editing:

Open the search menu of a saved search that you want to edit on the dashboard.

Switch to the search dialog by clicking the Open in search dialog button.

Modify the search criteria of the saved search request in the search forms in the search dialog.
You have the following options of entering search criteria, which can be combined as needed:-
You can enter a search term in the search field.
After entering three or more characters, you will be shown a list of possible search terms.

You can tick the checkbox in the tab of the Object type search aspect for one or more object types.

You can enter or enable search criteria in the tabs of the search aspects Created, Modified, or Document file for one or more object property fields.
After entering three or more characters, you will be shown a list of possible search terms in the text input fields.

You can save the changes in the saved search search criteria overview by clicking the Save changes button.

Open the Saved searches area in the Main menu.

Choose a saved search request from the list of the saved searches that you want to edit.

Switch to the search dialog by clicking the Open in search dialog button.

Modify the search criteria of the saved search request in the search forms in the search dialog.
You have the following options of entering search criteria, which can be combined as needed:-

If you received a shared search request (see Sharing Saved Searches), you are not permitted to edit, save, delete, add to favorites, or share with another user.
The order of the fields in the search form corresponds to the order in which they were created in the yuuvis® RAD designer.
