Screen readers
enaio® webclient the use of screen readers has been optimized. For this reason, OPTIMAL SYSTEMS recommends the use of Non-Visual Desktop Access (NVDA).
When screen readers are used in reading mode, the keyboard focus is not visible at all points in the application. For this reason, OPTIMAL SYSTEMS GmbH recommends the following settings when using NVDA: The keyboard focus is always visible in "Focus mode" (sometimes also called: "Navigation mode") with the NVDA screen reader. In the settings under "Reading mode" (sometimes also called "Browse mode"), the option Position system focus automatically on highlightable elements can be activated in order to also move the keyboard focus in the screen reader's reading mode. In addition, focus highlighting can be activated and customized in both NVDA and JAWS.
