Starting enaio® coLab
enaio® coLab is started in the browser. It is not necessary to install the program locally. enaio® coLab can be opened in the current versions of popular browsers such as Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Microsoft Edge (desktop editions).
Initial Login or Registration
You need an invitation e-mail from an enaio® coLab project room owner in order to participate in enaio® coLab. The e-mail contains a link to log on and access the enaio® coLab project room. The enaio® coLab login page appears if you click the link in your invitation e-mail.
You have the following options to log in to enaio® coLab on the login page:

enaio® User
enaio® users can log in to enaio® coLab using their enaio® user name and enaio® password and set up a user account. You can use the user account to manage access and adjustments in the settings for several project rooms.

External users have the following options for logging in to enaio® coLab on the login page:
Registration using an e-mail address
You have the option of logging in using your e-mail address and setting up a user account in enaio® coLab.
To use your e-mail address to register on enaio® coLab, follow these steps
You have received a coLab invitation e-mail with an invitation link to a coLab project room.

Click the link in your invitation e-mail.
The enaio® coLab login page appears.

Click the Log in with e-mail button on the login page.
The appearance of the button may vary as companies may have customized the login button. Please contact your administrator if you have any questions.
The e-mail login dialog appears.

Click the Register menu item in the open e-mail login dialog.
The e-mail registration form appears.

Enter your first name, last name, e-mail address, and a password in the registration form.

Confirm the password by entering it again and then click the Register button.
An information box for verifying your e-mail address will appear.
A verification e-mail has been sent to the e-mail address you provided.

Go to the inbox of the e-mail address you provided.

Confirm verification of your e-mail address by clicking the link in the verification e-mail.
Please confirm the verification of your e-mail address within five minutes; otherwise, it will lose its validity.

Registration using personal social media accounts
You have the option of logging in using the data from your social media account data (Google, Microsoft, or LinkedIn) to register and set up a user account in enaio® coLab.
Registering with Google
For the initial login to enaio® coLab using your Google account, you need to submit your Google data, such as your name or your e-mail address to the operator of the enaio® coLab portal.
To use your Google account to register for enaio® coLab, follow these steps
You have a valid Google account, and you know the e-mail address and password used for your Google account. You have received a coLab invitation e-mail with an invitation link to a coLab project room.

Click the link in your invitation e-mail.
The enaio® coLab login page appears.

Click the Log in with Google button on the coLab login page.

Enter the e-mail address used for your Google account in the login dialog and click the Next button.

Registering with Microsoft
For the initial login to enaio® coLab using your Microsoft account, you need to submit your Microsoft data, such as your name or your e-mail address to the operator of the enaio® coLab portal.
To use your Microsoft account to register for enaio® coLab, follow these steps
You have a valid Microsoft account, and you know the e-mail address and password associated with your Microsoft account. You have received a coLab invitation e-mail with an invitation link to a coLab project room.

Click the link in your invitation e-mail.
The enaio® coLab login page appears.

Click the Log in with Microsoft button on the coLab login page.

Enter the e-mail address associated with your Microsoft account in the login dialog and click the Next button.

Registering with LinkedIn
For the initial login to enaio® coLab using your LinkedIn account, you need to submit your LinkedIn data, such as your name or your e-mail address to the operator of the enaio® coLab portal.
To use your LinkedIn account to register for enaio® coLab, follow these steps
You have a valid LinkedIn account, and you know the e-mail address and password associated with your LinkedIn account. You have received a coLab invitation e-mail with an invitation link to a coLab project room.

Click the link in your invitation e-mail.
The enaio® coLab login page appears.

Click the Log in with LinkedIn button on the coLab login page.
The LinkedIn login dialog is shown.

Enter the e-mail address and password associated with your LinkedIn account in the login dialog and click the Sign in button.

Your user account in enaio® coLab has been set up.
No e-mail address is stored in enaio® coLab when registering via social media accounts such as Google, LinkedIn, and Microsoft. For this reason, notifications such as those regarding assigned tasks are not possible. However, you have the option of subsequently entering an e-mail address in the user data (see Changing User Data).
Logging in using an e-mail address and a one-time password for the first time
If enaio® coLab is configured accordingly and the project room owner has sent you a quick access e-mail (see Create as invitation for quick access), you also have the option of logging in to enaio® coLab with an e-mail address and a one-time password. The one-time password only gives you access to one project room and is only valid for one login. For additional logins, you can use the link in the quick access e-mail to generate additional one-time passwords as long as you are a member of the project room.
To log in to enaio® coLab using a one-time password, follow these steps
You have received an coLab invitation e-mail with a quick access link to an coLab project room.

Click the link in your invitation e-mail.
The enaio® coLab login page appears.

Click the Generate one-time password button on the login page.
A one-time password is generated and sent to your e-mail address.

Enter the password from the e-mail in the One-time password field on the enaio® coLab login page and then click the Log in button.
The one-time password is valid for 5 minutes only.

You will be asked to enter a user name for the user profile.

Click the message in the coLab header.
The Update personal data dialog opens.

Enter a user name in the corresponding fields.
If you change the e-mail address stored in enaio® coLab in your user data, the e-mail address used during registration or initial login will remain valid for logging in to enaio® coLab.

Registration via various registration channels
The login via different login channels (such as Google or LinkedIn) leads to the creation of different user accounts. No synchronization or data exchange is possible between the user accounts.
Logging in to using NTLM
enaio® coLab also supports registration or login using NTLM. The registration and login process may differ from the documentation depending on the configuration of your enaio® system and the integration of enaio® coLab. Please contact your administrator if you have any questions.

enaio® coLab also supports registration or login using Keycloak. The registration and login process may differ from the documentation depending on the configuration of your enaio® system and the integration of enaio® coLab. As the Keycloak login button can also be customized by your administrator, the appearance of the button can also vary. Please contact your administrator if you have any questions.
