Setting Up an Action

enaio® 11.0 »

Check if the Components of the Action of the 'Group prefix' synchronization logic exists:

  • Installed Softerra LDAP browser with the installation path in the PATH system variable.

  • axacxsltdirectorysync.xsd for validation in the enaio® directory \clients\admin

  • \adsync-work directory with all data it contains from the \Samples\XSLT Directory Synchronization Logic\admin installation directory in the enaio® directory \clients\admin:

  • Transformation file action.xsl

  • Configuration file config.xml

Configuring the Automatic Action

The automatic action 'XSLT directory synchronization' is set up in enaio® administrator.

The user requires the corresponding system roles for enaio® administrator and for setting up automatic actions.

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to Setup > Entire system > Additions to integrate the axacdirectorysync.dll library.

  2. Add the 'XSLT directory synchronization' action:

Configuration name

Name of configuration

AD command

AD Call

It is also possible, for example, to start batch processes instead of a direct AD call. The result of the call must be a file containing XML user and group data suitable for the transformation.

Configuration File

config.xml with path
(default: \adsync-work)

Transformation file

action.xsl with path

(default: \adsync-work)

Simulation mode

active/inactive

Simulation Mode

In simulation mode, the AD data is exported to adexport.xml, whereas the enaio® user data is exported to the export-[timestamp].xml. This data is transformed into the file import-[timestamp].xml. Import into enaio® is not performed.

All files can be found in the \adsync-work directory.

Check the following files:

  • Validate the XML structure by opening the files in a matching editor.

  • Check if the adexport.xml file contains all users from the prefix groups.
