Managing Follow-ups
You can create follow-ups for objects (e.g., folders, registers, and documents) in enaio®. You can view, edit, and delete these follow-ups in Inbox Follow-ups.
Follow-Ups Inbox
You can open the Follow-ups inbox using the Inbox icon on the main menu.
The Follow-ups inbox lists notifications of objects whose follow-up date has been reached.
You or other users you have added to your follow-up distribution list can set up follow-ups.
Several columns in the list of follow-up notifications provide information about the follow-up:
Follow-ups that have exceeded their follow-up date are indicated with an Exclamation mark icon.
The Submitted on and Submitted by columns contain information about when and by whom the follow-up was submitted. Each of the columns can be filtered, grouped, and sorted in the column order, just like any other column in object lists.
The Annotation column contains information that was recorded when the follow-up was created. The column can be filtered, grouped, and sorted in the column order, just like any other column in object lists.
The following applies if you are using enaio® mobile on a smartphone:
These columns are not displayed on smartphones due to limited screen space. You can also view certain information about a follow-up in the details preview (see The Preview Area). You can open the details preview by tapping on a follow-up in the list in the Follow-ups inbox and then on the Details preview icon.
When you select a follow-up notification, the context menu provides the standard functions, such as Edit content, Open location, and Export.
You can delete a follow-up notification from the inbox using the Edited feature in the context menu. Depending on the configuration of the follow-up, editing, i.e., confirmation of notice of the follow-up, may be linked to password confirmation.
For a better overview, you can flag follow-up notifications as read or unread (in bold) in the inbox. You can find the Set as read and Set as unread functions in the context menu of a selected follow-up notification.
Follow-Ups on the Dashboard and in the Details Preview
The enaio® webclient dashboard shows how many follow-up notifications are listed in the Follow-ups inbox (see Dashboard). Unread follow-up notifications are highlighted to indicate they have not yet been read.
If you select an object in an object list (e.g., in a hit list or at a location), you can see in the Details preview view whether follow-ups have been set up for an object (see The Preview Area). The Details preview view shows you all the follow-ups you have set up for an object as well as all follow-ups set up for you by other users. This means that the number of follow-ups in the Follow-ups inbox may be different from the number displayed in the details preview view. Click or a tap the Recipients button in the details preview view to see which enaio® users the follow-up was assigned to.
