Creating Follow-ups
You can create follow-ups for objects (e.g., folders, registers, and documents) in enaio®. Follow-ups are used as a processing reminder, for example. They are displayed in Inbox
Follow-ups once a specified time has passed (see Inbox). They remain there until you set the status to
Edited via the context menu.

-
Select an object (document, register, or folder) you want to follow up (e.g., in a hit list, in the inbox, or at a filing location).
-
Open the context menu.
-
Click or tap on the
Follow up icon in the context menu.
The settings dialog for follow-ups will open.
-
Select the settings for your follow-up:
Setting Description Follow-up on Select a date and time using the calendar add-on.
You can also enter or correct the date and time manually.
The latest date for a follow-up is 01/18/ 2038.
Annotation Enter your follow-up notes. The text you enter here will be displayed in the enaio® inbox or in the e-mail subject line.
E-mail After you have ticked the checkbox, you can enter e-mail addresses for the notification. Several e-mail addresses can be separated with commas, semi-colons, and spaces. A maximum of 255 characters is allowed.
Create for - Myself: The follow-up is shown in your inbox as of the specified time.
- Others: Using a selection dialog, you can assign the follow-up to one or several other enaio® users or groups.
Confirm with password The recipient of the follow-up is prompted to confirm the notice of the follow-up by entering their login password. - Finally, click or tap on Save.
The follow-up is created and will be shown at the specified time in your Follow-ups inbox or in the inbox of the specified editor or editors.
If you create several follow-ups with the same follow-up time for an object, only the last follow-up created will be displayed in the Follow-ups inbox.
The dashboard of enaio® webclient shows how many follow-up notifications are listed in the Follow-ups inbox. Unread follow-up notifications are highlighted to indicate they have not yet been read.
If you select an object in an object list (e.g., in a hit list or at a location), you can see in the Details preview view whether follow-ups have been set up for an object (see The Preview Area).
