Applying Processes to More Than One Object
You can also apply a process to multiple objects. This method is practical if you want, for example, to check several documents in a single process.
If you select several objects in an object list (such as a hit list or the favorites list) and then click the Actions menu in the area window of the object list, you can apply the process to each of the selected objects.
In some cases, it may not be possible to apply a process to all selected objects. A number on the button of the process then indicates how many objects the process is applied to (see Applying Actions to More Than One Object).

-
Create or open an object list, such as a hit list, the favorites list, or the object list in a folder.
-
Select more than one object in the object list.
You can select several objects by holding down the Ctrl key or the ⇧ Shift key and clicking several objects.
You can only select two versions in the version view.
-
Then click the
Actions menu icon in the header of the hit list or the object list.
The actions menu appears and shows in its header the number of selected objects to which the process can be applied.
If you click the actions menu icon in the object area, you will only see actions and processes for the one object that is shown in the object area (see The Object Area).
-
Click the required process in the actions menu > MORE ACTIONS.
If a process cannot be applied to all of the selected objects, a number will appear on the button of the process.
The process will then be applied to the appropriate count of objects.
A start form in which you can enter further task details (task texts, deadlines, editors, etc.) may be displayed or the process start is confirmed by a message, depending on the process configuration.
The started process is shown in the Inbox in Main menu where you can continue to edit it. It may also be the case that the first work item is shown in the inboxes of other users, depending on the configuration for the process.
The progress of the process will be shown in the process view. You open the process view via the Main menu icon > My processes.
Depending on the type of process, various other work items follow, which are described in the relevant company documentation.
