Deleting Saved Searches

You can delete saved searches at Main menu icon Main menu in the Saved searches area.

You cannot delete shared search requests yourself. They are only removed when sharing is canceled.

If you delete a saved search that is used in one or more dashboards (see Dashboard Customization Options), you will receive an alert with corresponding information about the dashboards in which the saved search is used.

To delete saved searches, follow these steps

  1. Click the Main menu icon Main menu icon on the yuuvis® RAD bar.

    The main menu appears.

  2. Click the Saved searches button in the main menu.

    The Saved searches area is displayed.

  3. Select the appropriate search request that you want to delete in the list of saved searches.

    The search menu with various icons and buttons is displayed in the edit area.

  4. Click the Delete button.

The search request is no longer displayed in the Saved searches area and on the dashboard, under the search dialog.

If you have shared the search request with other yuuvis® RAD users, it will no longer be available to these users either.

If you have used the search request in a dashboard, you will receive an alert with corresponding information about the dashboards in which the saved search is used. If you nevertheless delete the saved search request, the corresponding dashboard is displayed without content.

Saved search requests that you have deleted cannot be restored.
