Administrative Applications
enaio® administrator, enaio® enterprise-manager, enaio® editor, enaio® editor-for-workflow, and enaio® administrator-for-workflow are among the administrative applications.
These administrative applications will be installed using the MSI package enaio_administration_ansi.msi or enaio_administration_unicode.msi from the \Frontend directory.
- You can use enaio® administrator to manage users and the security system, templates and applications for Windows document types, archiving, import and export processes, and much more.
- With enaio® enterprise-manager you can manage the license system, individual servers and server groups, the media for archiving, and much more.
- Use enaio® editor to create the object definition and design the index data forms.
- With enaio® editor-for-workflow you can create workflow models, and with enaio® administrator-for-workflow you can view and manage running workflow processes.
We recommend installing the administrative applications on the server computer.
The connection data for enaio® server can be entered in the asinit.cfg file from the directory before installation.
ANSI and Unicode applications can only connect to a server that manages a correspondingly configured database.
The status bar of the applications displays the user and the address of the connected server, as well as which character set the database uses: Unicode or ANSI
.
enaio® administrator-for-workflow (web)
enaio® administrator-for-workflow will be replaced in a subsequent version by the web application enaio® administrator-for-workflow (web).
enaio® administrator-for-workflow (web) is already available in a scaled-down version.
enaio® administrator-for-workflow (web) is installed with the 'admin' service. The 'bpm' and 'system' services are required.
It is necessary to extend the application-prod.yml configuration file from enaio® gateway located in the ossecurity section:
ossecurity:
exposedEndpoints: '/osweb/**,/admin/**'
Access is via the enaio® web admin shell, via <service-manager-IP>/admin, or directly via the address <service-manager-IP>/admin/workflow-administrator.
The 'WF-Admin: Start' system role is required.
The following functions are not yet integrated:
-
overview of roles with at least one process in the inbox,
-
overview of users with at least one process in the inbox,
-
statistics reports.
enaio® administrator-for-workflow (web) is being developed with a particular focus on accessibility and user-friendliness.
Workflow administration as a web application allows users to access data from processes and models via URLs in order to facilitate development, analysis, and troubleshooting.
