Tabs
Display information about individual process activities or actions, as well as the associated variables, from various perspectives.
Process and activities tab
The Process and activities tab is divided into the following areas: Process, Activities, and Variables.
If you click the row Process, all actions for that process will be displayed in a table. If you click the row Activities, you will first see all the activities contained in the selected process. Clicking an activity row opens a table showing the corresponding actions.
The tables provide information about the type of actions, their creation time, the associated user, and the server system. By default, the table entries are sorted by the creation time of the actions.
When you select an action, the variables associated with that action – along with their names and values – are displayed below the tables, if available.
Timer tab
The Timer tab provides an overview of the history of timer activities. There are two types of timers:
Dunning period and
Retention period, which are indicated by icons in the overview. Clicking a timer activity row opens a table showing the corresponding actions.
The table provides information about the type of action, the time it was created, the user associated with it, and the server system. The actions are sorted by creation time.
When you select an action, the variables associated with that action – including their names and values – are displayed below the table, if available.
The tab will not be displayed if there are no timer activities in the selected process model.
Inboxes – Activities tab
The Inboxes – Activities tab displays an overview of the history of activities in inboxes.
If you click an activity’s row, a table will appear showing the users in whose inbox the corresponding activity was performed. The table also provides information about the reason for the action and the time it took to complete it. By default, the table entries are sorted by the creation time of the actions.
When you select an action, the variables associated with that action – including their names and values – are displayed below the table, if available.
The tab will not be displayed if there are no activities in the inboxes.
Inboxes – Users tab
The Inboxes – Users tab allows you to view the history of user activity in their inboxes. This tab lists all users with activity in their inboxes. When you click a user’s row, a table showing the activities in that user's inbox is displayed. The table also shows the reason for the activity and the time it was created. It is sorted alphabetically by user name.
When you select an activity, the variables associated with that action – including their names and values – are displayed below the table, if available.
The tab is not displayed if there are no activities in users’ inboxes.
-
Variables area
Displays the variables and their values for the actions selected in the tabs in tabular form. The Name column contains the variable name and the variable type (see Variable types).
By clicking the arrow next to a variable entry, you can show or hide additional variable rows.
The table can be sorted and filtered (see Adjusting Tables). The size of the variables area can be adjusted using the handles. This setting is saved automatically.
Adjusting Tables
You can customize all tables in the view. You can show or hide the tables or areas by clicking a column header or an arrow. When you move the mouse pointer over an action bar or click it, the action bar is highlighted. Only one line can be selected at a time.
In addition, the following customization options are available to you:
You can sort the tables in any order by clicking a column header. The column header by which the table is sorted is highlighted in color and marked with a /
Sorting icon. Clicking the column header again reverses the sorting or clears it. The sorting is not saved when you exit the details view.
You can adjust the column width to your liking. To do this, move your mouse pointer over a column divider in the table header until the mouse pointer changes to a Cross with two arrows icon. Press and hold the left mouse button, and drag the column divider to the desired position. Column widths are not saved when you exit the view.
In the variables table, use the filter input field to filter the table by specific variables. The filter input field also accepts partial terms and is not case-sensitive. Placeholders and operators are not supported.
You can undo any changes you have made to the tables using the 'Reset layout' function in the
More actions menu.
