Sending Objects

You can send objects like folders, registers, and document files by e-mail in enaio®. You can send document files both as a file (contents of the object) and as links. Folders and registers can only be sent as links.
When sending as a link, enaio® webclient generates an e-mail with the following links in the content:
This allows other enaio® users to view the content and object properties of the linked object in a browser. The object properties preview displays index data and basic parameters, as well as information on workflows, the history, notes, and follow-ups.
A browser, enaio® login credentials, and appropriate rights to the object are required to use this URL. See The Preview Area for information on using the preview.
This allows other enaio® users to view the filing location of the linked object in enaio® webclient in a browser (see Opening Filing Locations).
A enaio® webclient, enaio® login credentials, and appropriate rights to the object are required to use this URL.
This allows other enaio® users to view documents, folders, or registers, for example, based on the type of reference file.
To use the *.os reference file, the recipient must have enaio® webclient as a desktop application, enaio® mobile or enaio® client, enaio® credentials, and the corresponding rights to the object. See Internal References (*.os Reference Files) for information on how to use reference files.
Not every link is supported by every enaio® client. See below for an overview of the links supported in the different enaio® clients.
