enaio® webclient, enaio® webclient as a desktop application, Microsoft Office, and enaio® client support editing enaio® coLab documents using enaio® office-365-dashlet. This does not apply to enaio® mobile or to mobile devices such as tablets and smartphones, however.

The enaio® office-365-dashlet enables collaborative editing of Microsoft Office documents directly from enaio® webclient or from enaio® webclient as a desktop application. If your enaio® system is configured accordingly, the Office 365 dashlet icon is shown in the header of the preview area. It will only be shown if you have selected a document whose object type can be edited using Microsoft Office 365.

The dashlet will offer you different Microsoft functions, depending on whether you have selected a Word, Excel, or PowerPoint file. You will find a brief description below. You do not need an Microsoft Office 365 account to use these functions, with the exception of 'Edit.' Consult the respective Microsoft help guides if you want to learn more about Microsoft support functions and how to use them (see Microsoft Office 365).

The following functions are available in the dashlet for Word documents:

Icon	Function	Description
	Edit	Open the Word document by clicking the Editing icon in the header of enaio® office-365-dashlet (see Collaborating on Editing Documents with Microsoft Office 365).
	Print	The Word document will be converted to a PDF file that you can open and print when you click the Print icon in the header of enaio® office-365-dashlet. Alternatively, you can also use Ctrl+P.
	Search	You can search the Word document by clicking the Find icon in the dropdown menu of enaio® office-365-dashlet.
	Translate	You can translate the content of the Word document into various languages by clicking the Translate icon in the dropdown menu of enaio® office-365-dashlet.
	Copy	If you mark text passages in the content preview in enaio® office-365-dashlet, you can copy them to the Windows clipboard and insert them into documents or applications by pressing Ctrl+C. The copy function is available in the dashlet via the context menu.
	Zoom	If you click the percentage in the footer of enaio® office-365-dashlet, the Zoom mode menu opens and you can change the scaling of the content preview in the dashlet.

The following functions are available in the dashlet for Excel files:

Icon	Function	Description
	Edit	Click the Viewing icon in the header of enaio® office-365-dashlet and then the Editing icon in the dropdown menu that appears if you want to edit the Excel file. Alternatively, you can double-click in the Excel spreadsheet and then click the Edit workbook button in the error message that appears (see Collaborating on Editing Documents with Microsoft Office 365).
	Search	There is a search input field available in the header of enaio® office-365-dashlet, which you can use to search the content of the Excel file. The search function is available in the dashlet via the context menu. Alternatively, you can also use Ctrl+F.
	Print	Pressing Ctrl+P will call up the Print menu of enaio® office-365-dashlet that you can use to convert the Excel file to a PDF file that you can open and print.
	Copy	If you mark text passages in the content preview in enaio® office-365-dashlet, you can copy them to the Windows clipboard and insert them into documents or applications by pressing Ctrl+C. The copy function is available in the dashlet via the context menu.

The following functions are available in the dashlet for PowerPoint documents:

	Edit in browser	Click the Edit in browser icon in the header of enaio® office-365-dashlet if you want to edit the PowerPoint document (see Collaborating on Editing Documents with Microsoft Office 365).
	Start slide show	You can call up the PowerPoint document directly from enaio® office-365-dashlet for a presentation by clicking the Start slide show icon in the header of the dashlet. The same function is available in the footer of the dashlet.
	Print to PDF	The PowerPoint document will be converted to a PDF file that you can open and print when you click the Print to PDF icon in the header of enaio® office-365-dashlet. Alternatively, you can also use Ctrl+P.
	Comments	Click the Comments icon in the header of enaio® office-365-dashlet and then the Add comments icon in the dropdown menu that appears if you want to edit the PowerPoint document (see Collaborating on Editing Documents with Microsoft Office 365).
	Scroll	If you click the arrow icons (, ) in the footer of enaio® office-365-dashlet, you can scroll through the PowerPoint presentation. Alternatively, you can also click the displayed slide in the dashlet to scroll. If you click the slide numbering between the scroll icons, you can select the slide to show from the menu that appears.
	Notes	If you click the NOTES icon in the footer of enaio® office-365-dashlet, you can view in the dashlet the notes from the PowerPoint document.
	Editing view	Open the PowerPoint document by clicking the Editing view icon in the footer of enaio® office-365-dashlet (see Collaborating on Editing Documents with Microsoft Office 365).
	Reading view	Open the reading view of the PowerPoint document by clicking the Reading view icon in the footer of enaio® office-365-dashlet.
	Slide show	You can call up the PowerPoint document directly from enaio® office-365-dashlet for a presentation by clicking the Slide show icon in the footer of the dashlet. The same function is available in the header of the dashlet.

enaio® webclient cannot be closed if a document is open and being edited using enaio® office-365-dashlet.
