enaio® outlook-web-add-in (beta)
enaio® outlook-web-add-in enables you to file e-mails from the new Outlook in enaio®. The function is integrated into the reading area of Outlook using an add-in. You can find information on how to add an add-in in the new Outlook in Microsoft’s product help (see Microsoft support ).
enaio® outlook-web-add-in supports all enaio® clients. An enaio® client does not need to be installed or open on the device on which the new Microsoft Outlook is running.
To file an e-mail in enaio® using enaio® outlook-web-add-in, follow these steps

Your administrator needs to provide enaio® outlook-web-add-in for the new Outlook and add you to the group of authorized users.

enaio® outlook-web-add-in needs to be integrated in the new Outlook.

If you have not yet logged in to enaio®, you will need your enaio® login data.

In the new Outlook, select the message that you want to file in enaio®.

Click (or tap) the
enaio® logo in the reading area of the selected e-mail.
If you have integrated enaio® outlook-web-add-in into the new Outlook, the logo is located in the header of the reading area. Click the
Apps icon in the header and in the menu that appears; click the
enaio® logo File in enaio® if it is not shown in the header.
The enaio® outlook-web-add-in is opened and shown next to the reading area.

Depending on your system configuration, you may still need to log in to enaio®. You can tell whether you are logged in or not, for example, by whether or not you can select a filing location.
To log in, click (or tap) the
Login icon in the uppermost add-in field.
The login form will now open.

Enter your enaio® user name and the password in the corresponding fields of the login form and then click (or tap) the Login button.
You will be logged in to enaio® and can now file e-mails with the add-in in enaio®.

You now have the following options for filing the e-mail:

If you are not yet sure where you want to file the e-mail in enaio®, you can temporarily save the e-mail in the enaio® filing tray and file it at the desired location later. To do so, click (or tap) the Send to tray button.
The e-mail is transferred to the enaio® filing tray without any additional steps.
The e-mail is assigned in Microsoft Outlook to the category Created in enaio®.

You can file the e-mail in one of the locations that you have previously marked as a favorite in enaio®. In this case, continue with the following steps.

Select a filing location from the list of suggested filing locations in the middle add-in field.
Alternatively, you have the option of reducing the length of the list using the
Search field.
In enaio® outlook-web-add-in, the directories in enaio® that have been saved as favorites in enaio® are shown as filing locations. You can update the display of your favorites list by clicking (or tapping) the
Refresh locations icon.
If you have selected a filing location, the selected filing location remains preselected in the selection box for the next eight hours. This means that even if you exit or close and reopen the add-in, the last selected filing location will be shown again. The complete selection list is only shown again when you delete the preselected filing location from the add-in field.
The possible object types for filing the e-mail are shown in the lower field depending on the selected filing location.

If several object types are shown, select an object type and click (or tap) the Send to location button.
The object types that are shown depend on the configuration of the filing location. The configuration is defined by your administrator. Ask your administrator if you do not know which object type to select. If no object type is offered, no e-mail can be filed in the selected filing location.
The e-mail is filed and indexed in enaio®.
The e-mail is assigned in Microsoft Outlook to the category Created in enaio®.
E-mails that have failed to be filed in enaio® are categorized as Error creating in enaio® in Microsoft Outlook. If further filing attempt is successful, the categorization in Microsoft Outlook is automatically changed accordingly.
