Creating Project Rooms
enaio® coLab project rooms can be created with enaio® client, enaio® webclient , enaio® webclient as a desktop application, and enaio® mobile . enaio® users with the corresponding rights can create any number of project rooms. Project rooms can only be created on the basis of an enaio® folder or register.
The application enaio® coLab-Project-Room-Creator must be installed on your enaio® client by your administrator before you can create project rooms. Please contact your enaio® administrator if you have any questions.

Start an enaio® client.

In enaio®, select the folder or register you want to share with a coLab project room.

Open the context menu of the selected folder or register, and,

if you are using enaio® client,
click the Actions menu item and then the Create coLab project room icon in the submenu that appears.
As an alternative, you can click the Create coLab project room icon in the Object search on the public desktop.

if you are using enaio® webclient, enaio® webclient as a desktop application, or enaio® mobile
click enaio® coLab-Project-Room-Creator.
The following applies if you are using enaio® mobile:
The context menu can be opened in enaio® mobile by pressing and holding the cursor over an entry in an object list (e.g., in a hit list, in a filing location, in the favorites area).
The context menu can also be opened on smartphones by clicking the More actions icon found on each line.
A window appears where a command line program is processed.
Your standard browser opens with the Create new project room dialog.

Fill in the fields of the dialog.
Fields indicated by an asterisk ("*") are mandatory.

Enter the name and description of the project room.
You can enter either up to 255 or 1,000 characters including spaces in the Project name and Description fields. The numbers above the input field indicate the number of characters you can enter and how many characters you have already entered.

Specify the document query depth in the Query depth field (see also Changing Query Depths).

Save your entries by clicking the Create button.
You automatically become the owner of the new project room when you create a project room.
The project room has been created.

Go to the Settings page in the project room in enaio® coLab and check the status of the enaio® coLab object type. The following statuses are possible:

Waiting for coLab upload status...
Use the F5 key to refresh the Settings page two minutes after the project room has been created to ensure that it has one of the two statuses.

coLab upload type is not available
Inform your enaio® administrator if the enaio® coLab object type is not available. If the enaio® coLab object type is not available, it is not possible to upload new files to the project room or to enaio®.

Project room creation has been completed when the enaio® coLab object type is available.
Highlighting of coLab Folders and Registers in enaio®
Folders and registers that have been shared with external users in enaio® with the help of enaio® coLab (project rooms) are specially highlighted in the enaio® clients.
