Creating Task Groups
You can create task groups in the tasks view. Task groups are the prerequisite for creating tasks (see Creating Tasks). You can open the tasks view by clicking the Tasks icon in the main navigation.
It is possible that the tasks view and the task area on the project’s overview page have been hidden in the settings of enaio® coLab (see The General Settings Area).
To create a task group, follow these steps

In the Tasks view, click the Plus icon in the header of the task group list.
The Create new task group input form appears.

Enter a title for the task group.
You can enter up to 255 characters including spaces in the input field. The numbers above the input field indicate the number of characters you can enter and how many characters you have already entered.

Click the Apply button.
The task group is created and shown in the tasks view of all project members in the Task group area.
Task groups are also shown on the project’s overview page if tasks have been assigned to the project member. However, it is possible that the Assigned tasks area on the project’s overview page have been hidden in the settings of enaio® coLab (see The General Settings Area).
If the features described above are not available to you, then it may be because you have been assigned a user-defined role that does not contain the corresponding rights. Contact a coLab administrator or the project room owner if you have any questions or if you need these rights.
