Roles Management in enaio® coLab

coLab administrators have the option of creating new and user-specific roles in enaio® coLab based on the existing Guest, Member, and Owner roles. User-specific roles are created in the enaio® coLab client in the Administrator settings icon Admin settings > Role management icon Role management area.

The following functions are available to you in the Role management icon Role management area:

  • Create role icon Create role

    Creates a role without rights to which you can assign the necessary rights according to your needs.

  • Edit role icon Edit role

    Enables the editing of existing user-defined roles.

  • Copy role icon Copy role

    Duplicates a configured role from the roles management. The copied role can be subsequently modified.

  • Delete role icon Delete role

    Deletes a user-defined role.

    Roles that are still assigned to users cannot be deleted.

    The Guest, Member, and Owner roles cannot be deleted either.

Once created, the user-defined roles are available to all project room owners in the respective project member administration.

enaio® coLab users cannot view the rights of user-defined roles. The scope of rights for the Guest, Member, and Owner roles is documented here (see User Roles ).
