Service Release 4 for enaio® webclient contains bug fixes and the following new features:

Discontinuation of the MSI pPackage for the Installation of enaio® webclient as a desktop application

An MSI package was provided for the administrative installation of enaio® webclient as a desktop application for the last time.

With Service Release 4, the NSIS installer enaio-webclient-app.exe is available for administrative installation.

If configured accordingly, an NSIS installer is already available for users to download for installation and updating.

The NSIS installer enaio-webclient-app.exe is located among the installation data in the directory \Frontend\Webclient-Desktop-App\.

Profile distribution is possible for user-specific installations, but not for global installations.

Keyboard Controls

The options for using enaio® webclient with keyboard commands have been further expanded:

  • In add-ons and in catalogs with simple lists, you can navigate using the keyboard(Tab to set the focus on the first entry in the list, the arrow keys to navigate and Enter or spacebar to select an entry).

  • When creating and editing the content of a document object, it is possible to navigate within the Add content area in the Add content and Select template tabs.

  • In an open work item, users can activate the Data sheet, File, Log or Circulation slip areas using icons instead of a selection list so that screen readers can provide information accordingly.
