Service Release 3

enaio® webclient 11.0 »

Installation of the DMS service 6.2 is also required for Service Release 3.

Service Release 3 for enaio® webclient contains bug fixes and the following new features:

OAuth2 Authentication

enaio® webclient, enaio® webclient as a desktop application, and enaio® mobile users can send links and content via a connected SMTP server with global OAuth2 authentication and Office 365 (Azure).

The osweb-prod.yml configuration file has been adapted to include configuration parameters for this purpose.

For updates, the parameters featureSwitches.sendEmail.oAuthClientId, featureSwitches.sendEmail.oAuthClientSecret, and featureSwitches.sendEmail.oAuthTenantId must be added manually in the osweb-prod.yml configuration file. Without OAuth2 authentication, these parameters are not necessary.

enaio® webclient Uses the DMS Service for Object Searches

enaio® webclient and enaio® webclient as a desktop application execute search requests via the DMS service for enaio® starting with version 11.0. This allows users to now also use operators when searching in table fields. enaio® mobile continues to use enaio® appconnector for connections with older enaio® systems.

Keyboard Controls

The options for using enaio® webclient with keyboard commands have been further expanded:

  • Users navigate through the quick searches and their search options using the keyboard (Tab, Shift + Tab). The search is started by pressing Enter or the space bar and a screen reader informs the user simultaneously.

  • When creating or editing document objects, a clearly visible and focusable button for uploading files is available in the "Add content area" (drop zone), which replaces a simple mouse click.

  • In add-ons and catalogs with simple lists, you can navigate using the keyboard (Tab to set the focus on the first entry in the list, the arrow keys to navigate and Enter or spacebar to select an entry).

  • At the location of an object, the register tree can be navigated within the navigation area using the keyboard (arrow keys to navigate and Enter or space bar to open the next level).
