Creating Registers
/ Register must be created in a folder or in a register and indexed. The administrator sets up the register types and assigns them to a folder type. Additional requirements may results due to object type relations. The administrator can specify, for example, that one type of register may only be created in another type of register.

Open a filing location and switch to the Table view, if necessary.

Click or tap the Create icon in the content area. Alternatively, you can also use the New function in the More actions menu or the context menu.
To open the context menu:

right-click, or press and hold in enaio® mobile, in the empty area in the content area.

select a folder or register in the navigation area of the filing location and then right-click, or press and hold in enaio® mobile, the entry.
The following applies if you are using enaio® mobile on a smartphone:
On smartphones, the navigation and content areas are not placed next to each other due to space constraints. You can switch to the navigation area by tapping the Register tree icon in the title bar of the filing location. Tap the Arrow icon to return to the content area.
The selection menu containing the available register and document types opens.

Click or tap on the required register type in the selection menu.
The index data form now opens.

Enter the index data.

Click or tap on the Save icon.
The new / Register will be created and displayed in the register tree or content area of the filing location.

Use a search to generate a hit list of folders or registers.

Select the folder or register in the hit list where you want to create the register.

Open the context menu.

Click or tap on the New icon in the context menu.
The selection menu now opens.

Click or tap on the required register type in the selection menu.
The index data form now opens.

Complete the index data form.

Click or tap on the Save icon.
You are now shown a message indicating that the new / Register has been created at the selected location.
The hit list opens again.
