Logging In Using enaio® mobile

enaio® mobile10.10 »

The enaio icon enaio® mobile app must be installed on your touchscreen device in order to use enaio® mobile. enaio® mobile is made available to you in the Google and Apple app stores (see Installing enaio® mobile). You may need to grant the app access to specific services.

The Login Dialog

  • Your administrator has provided you with a user name and password for enaio®.

  • Your administrator has provided you with an IP address/URL so you can connect to enaio®.

  • A working Internet connection to enaio® server.

Tapping the enaio icon enaio® mobile app on your touchscreen device opens the enaio® mobile login dialog. Enter your login data into the URL, User name, and Password fields and then click the Log in button. The enaio® mobile dashboard is displayed once you have successfully logged in.

The administrator can define what will be displayed first after a successful login: the dashboard, a hit list, the inbox, etc. (see Configuration File External link icon).

When you log in for the first time after successfully installing enaio® mobile, you will have the opportunity to explore enaio® on a demo system. You do not need any further login information to use the demo system. You can also access the demo system if you delete all profiles in the enaio® mobile login dialog.

Password

Once you have successfully logged in to enaio®, you should change your password after logging in for the first time (see Changing the Password).

You can configure enaio® to force you to change the password after logging in for the first time. This one-time password only enables you to set a new password that will allow you to work in enaio® initially.

If you enter an incorrect password three times while logging in, the user account will be automatically locked. You can ask your administrator to reset your password and have your user account unlocked.

The administrator can generally unblock the password after three failed login attempts in enaio® enterprise-manager (see Server Properties External link icon).

Logging In Using Profiles

Once you have successfully logged in, your login data you used to log in on the device will automatically be saved as a profile. You can use the saved profiles in the Profile field the next time you log in on the same device. If you select a profile, then you only have to enter your password manually into the login dialog.

You can save an unlimited number of profiles. The profiles are stored locally on the device you are logged in on and are only available there for further use.

Profiles that you no longer want to use can be deleted by clicking the Remove icon Remove icon. Please note that deleted profiles cannot be restored.

Deleting your profile also deletes the data of your synchronized items. The objects are then no longer available in offline mode.

Option: Logging In Automatically

If you tick the Log in automatically checkbox when logging in to enaio®, you do not need to log in again

  • if you exited the enaio® mobile without logging out.

You can exit enaio® mobile without logging out by, for example, closing the app with the Delete – icon icon or swiping it away.

  • if the connection to enaio® server was lost due to technical events.

The auto login function remains active until you log out via the main menu > User Menu User menu > Log out icon Log out.

You can also open User Menu User menu with a click or tap on your avatar image in the main menu, if it has been set up.

Logging In and Out in Offline Mode

enaio® mobile supports working in offline mode (see enaio® webclient in Offline Mode). This means you can also launch enaio® mobile if the connection to the enaio® server is lost. This requires that you have already successfully logged on online in the enaio® system via enaio® mobile and have not expressly logged out again.

You can exit enaio® mobile without logging out by closing the client with the Delete – icon icon or swiping it away.
