Changing the Password

enaio® webclient 10.10 »

If you log in via the login dialog instead of being logged in automatically, you should change your password after the first time you log in.

You can configure enaio® to force you to change the password after logging in for the first time. This one-time password only enables you to set a new password that will allow you to work in enaio® initially.

To change your password, follow these steps

  1. Click or tap on the User Menu User menu icon in the main menu or your avatar image.

    The user menu now opens.

  2. Click or tap on the Settings icon Settings icon in the user menu.

    The settings dialog now opens.

  3. Select the General tab and click or tap on the Arrow icon Arrow icon located next to the Password entry.

The input fields for changing your password will open.

  4. Enter your old and new password and then confirm your new password by entering it a second time.

Passwords may not exceed 100 characters in length. You can use any special character except for @ and #.

The administrator can make additional specifications regarding length and complexity.

  5. Click or tap on Change password.

    The password will be changed.

  6. Click or tap on the Apply button to apply all changes made in the settings and close the settings dialog. Restart the client, if necessary.

If you have ticked the Automatically log in checkbox in the login dialog in enaio® webclient as a desktop application or in enaio® mobile, the Password entry will not be shown in the settings.
