Properties of Rights Group Controls

enaio® editor 10.10 »

Rights group controls correspond to text fields with permissions group add-ons with one difference: Entries in permissions group controls are verified by checking them in enaio® client against the current user and group data. You can also use the 'Batch change of rights group fields' automatic action for rights group controls. This action can be used to change the index data of fields of rights group control, for example to remove users who have left or to add new users.

Similar to fields with rights group add-ons, rights group controls can be configured on the Add-on tab using the same extra entries (see 'Rights Group Add-on').

Rights group controls require clauses version 8.50 or higher. Only '#RIGHTGROUP#' and 'is null' clauses are allowed.

The following field properties are not supported:

Restriction due to form

Regular expression

Copy automatically

With leading zeros

Key field at transfer

Automatically execute add-on

Automatic suggestions list

Case-sensitive

Only the function 'User(u)' and constants that specify a user or a group with identification are permitted as default values. Example: STANDARD(g).

Text fields with rights group add-ons can be converted to 'Rights group control' fields via the 'Group-to-rule conversion' automatic action.

Fields of type 'Rights group control' will not be taken into account in the history and when restoring previous index data versions. The last value is kept when recovered.
