yuuvis® RAD Office Add-In

The yuuvis® RAD Office Add-In provides you with features in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) that make it easier for you to create and store Office documents in yuuvis® RAD, edit document content, or transfer data to and from yuuvis® RAD. The functions are integrated in the Start ribbon tab of the Office application by means of an add-in.

yuuvis® RAD Office Add-In Features

	Saves and checks documents processed in Microsoft Office back into the yuuvis® RAD filing system (see Editing Document Files in yuuvis® RAD Office Add-In). This feature is available only if you opened a yuuvis® RAD document in an Office application and if yuuvis® RAD agent and yuuvis® RAD server are connected with one-another.
	Enables the immediate or later filing of new documents created in Microsoft Office in the yuuvis® RAD filing system. You can save the newly created document in the original file format or as a PDF (see Editing Document Files in yuuvis® RAD Office Add-In). You can also use this feature to save an edited yuuvis® RAD document to a new filing location in the yuuvis® RAD filing system immediately or at a later time. Documents to be stored in the yuuvis® RAD filing system at a later time using this function are transferred to the yuuvis® RAD client in-tray (see The In-tray).
	Opens the filing location of the yuuvis® RAD document checked out for editing (see The Folder View). This feature is available only if you opened a yuuvis® RAD document in an Office application and if yuuvis® RAD agent and yuuvis® RAD server are connected with one-another.
	This feature replaces placeholders in the text of the document checked out for editing with entries from metadata forms in yuuvis® RAD. When yuuvis® RAD Office Add-In and yuuvis® RAD client work in conjunction, a server-side data transfer occurs. This feature is available only if you opened a yuuvis® RAD document in an Office application and if yuuvis® RAD agent and yuuvis® RAD server are connected with one-another.
