Creating Subscriptions
You can create subscriptions for folders and documents. You will receive an e-mail or a message in your inbox if changes are made to an object (see Inbox).
For documents, you can also choose when setting up the subscription whether you want to be informed either of changes to the metadata, the document content, or of changes to the metadata as well as the document content.

-
Select the desired object (in a hit list, a process file, or the favorites, inbox, or notifications areas in the main menu, for example). As another option, you can also switch to the folder view or the object view by double-clicking the selected object.
-
Click
Actions >GENERAL >
Create subscription.
-
Enter a title for the subscription.
The title will appear as a heading when the subscription is shown in the inbox.
If the Create subscription action is applied to more than one object at the same time, no input field for the title will be shown. In this case, the title of the individual object will be used to show subscriptions in the inbox.
-
Select the type of notification.
If you select the Notification via inbox option, all the subscription notifications will be delivered to the inbox. In addition, if you are logged in to yuuvis® RAD client, a Windows notification message will inform you that new information has arrived in your inbox. You can view the inbox by clicking the Windows notification message. When using this feature for the first time, the user must grant permission for being notified via the Windows operating system.
