Adding Objects to Favorites

You can add objects (folders and document files) and saved searches to your favorites in yuuvis® RAD client. You can quickly access frequently used objects via the Favorites area in the Main menu icon Main menu. Saved searches that you added to your favorites will be shown on the home screen of yuuvis® RAD client.

Adding Objects to Favorites

Click the Favorites icon Favorites icon in the header area of the object area to add objects to your favorites. A save dialog in which you can assign a title to the favorite appears. After saving, the favorites icon changes color and the object is added to the Favorites area in the main menu. You can edit the name of a favorite using the Favorites icon Favorites icon only when creating the favorite.

As another option, you can use the Add to favorites icon Add to favorites action in the Actions menu iconActions menu for one or more selected objects. If you add several objects at the same time to your favorites, you cannot name them yourself. The names of the favorites are automatically generated from the metadata.

Managing Favorites

You can manage all your favorites in the Favorites area in the main menu. You can open the Favorites area by clicking the Favorites icon Favorites icon or via the Main menu icon Main menu icon on the yuuvis® RAD bar. The Favorites area is subdivided into the following areas:

Removing Favorites

Click the Favorites icon Favorites icon in the object area again to remove an object from your favorites. As another option, you can use the Remove from favorites icon Remove from favorites action in the Actions menu iconActions menu of the selected object(s).

If you want to remove an object that has already been deleted in the system from your favorites, click the Remove from favorites button in the middle of the object area.

Adjusting the Layout

You can change the layout of the areas using the Undock icon Configure view areas icon (see Hiding and Undocking Areas). You can also change the arrangement of the aspect areas to your liking (see Object Aspects).
