In yuuvis® RAD client, you can search for business objects via properties that yuuvis® RAD automatically save for business objects: creation date, creator, change date, editor, and, for documents, also file type, file size, and file name.
You can find the following search aspects in the search dialog: Created, Modified, and Document file (see The Search Dialog).
Created search aspect
| Time period |
The offered time periods are relative to the current date. To apply a time period, click it and it will show in the search criteria overview. |
| User-defined |
You can enter a 'from' 'to' time period via the calendar. If you want to enter a 'from' date only, the search will be made up to the current date. If you want to enter a 'to' date only, the search will include all objects created up to and including this date. Clicking Apply shows the time period in the search criteria overview. |
| Creator |
After entering 2 or more letters, you will be shown a list of possible creators. To show all available elements in a list of suggestions, you can enter the '*' placeholder (asterisk). To apply a creator, click it and it will show in the search criteria overview. If you enter multiple creators, they are linked logistically with OR. |

Document file search aspect

You will be shown a list of possible file names after entering three or more letters. To apply a file name, click it and it will be shown in the search criteria overview. |
If you save a search that applies to a time period relative to the current date (e.g., 'yesterday,' 'last week,' 'last year'), future searches will also use the current date at the time of searching as a reference date. For example, a saved search for all objects from 'yesterday' will always return all objects from the day before.
All selected or entered search criteria will be listed in the Your search overview in the search dialog. They can be saved and removed again from there (see Saving Searches).
The search links all search terms on search forms and all limitations on object properties and object types with AND by default. Object types are linked in the search by OR.
