Troubleshooting in yuuvis® RAD client
It may happen that copying documents from your file system to the Windows clipboard and then pasting them into yuuvis® RAD client does not work.
Use Google Chrome as your browser if you want to use the copy and paste feature. Some browsers, such as Firefox, do not support the copy and paste feature of yuuvis® RAD client.
After editing metadata, discrepancies may occur between the display of metadata in the Metadata and Overview aspect areas, as well as in the object area header or in object lists (e.g., hit lists, in the information area of folder views, favorites lists, etc.). The metadata changes are not displayed.
Press F5 to reload the page. The changed metadata will then also be displayed in the other areas or object lists.
Although a specific object has been selected, the object aspects or the content preview is/are not displayed in the object area.
Enable the history in your Firefox browser. Disabling the history prevents the display of the object aspects.
Aspect areas can be hidden by the administrator. As a result, the functions described may not be available to you.
When displaying objects with adjacent fields containing tables, the display stops adjusting to the new window size when the browser window is resized.
Press F5 to reload the page. The display adjusts to the new window size.
When opening views, the error message for missing values in the metadata database is shown.
After deleting the metadata database, it is recommended you reload yuuvis® RAD client using the F5 function key to prevent the error message about missing values in the metadata database from being displayed when opening views.
It may happen that the data relevant to a task in a process cannot be loaded. This is the case if this task is no longer up to date because the process has already been forwarded.
Click the Refresh icon in the header of the My processes list to update the list. The task will then no longer be included in the list.
The scroll function in hit lists does not display more than 10,000 hits.
Hit lists containing more than 10,000 hits are subject to technical restrictions in yuuvis® RAD client because they can severely impair system performance. For example, the scroll function in the footer of a hit list only shows the first 10,000 hits. In spite of this, you can also sort and filter hit lists that contain more than 10,000 hits. The first 10,000 hits are queried and displayed again after you apply the functions. Alternatively, you can reduce the size of the hit list by entering a more specific search request.
