Installation

Requirements

As a prerequisite, yuuvis® RAD and all of its components must have been installed.

The 'rmalink' service provides the 'ArchiveLink' interfaces according to the S/4-BC-AL 7.40 integration scenario.

This interface is supported by SAP® ERP 6.x and higher and S/4HANA 2020. ArchiveLink is not available for S/4HANA Public Cloud.

The 'rmilm' services provides the 'ILM' interfaces according to the BC-ILM 3.1 integration scenario.

This interface is supported by SAP® NetWeaver 7.5 and higher and SAP S/4HANA 2020. ILM is not available for S/4HANA Public Cloud.

The Visual C++ Redistributable Package for Visual Studio is required. The package must be installed before installing the 'rmalink' service.

Installation

You will receive the following data to install yuuvis® RAD repository-manager:

• The 'rmalink' and 'rmilm' services

• RM5Types.zip

  Schema provided via yuuvis® RAD designer as part of the active schema.

The 'rmalink' and 'rmilm' Services

The 'rmalink' and 'rmilm' services are installed with yuuvis® RAD service-manager.

The 'rmalink' service is configured via the rmalink-prod.yml configuration file and the 'rmilm' service via the rmilm-prod.yml configuration file. These files must be copied to the \config directory of yuuvis® RAD service-manager.

After installation and configuration, the services need to be enabled via the servicewatcher-sw.yml configuration file located in the \config directory by assigning the instances parameter the value 1 for each:

If you only use the ArchiveLink connection, then only configure and enable this 'rmalink' service. If you only use the ILM connection, then only configure and enable the 'rmilm' service.

Once completed, yuuvis® RAD service-manager needs to be restarted.

The services used need to be fully configured before commissioning. The services carry out a health check. A check is performed of connections and the presence of object types in the schema.
