DMS operations, like all operations, use the general parameters E-mail mode and Report mode as well as specific parameters.

Cleaning Up Pre-existing Objects

Deletes objects that have not been filed from users’ in-trays.

Specific parameters of the operation:

Deleting Objects

Deletes objects using an eSQL statement. The objects are permanently deleted and not just moved to the recycle bin.

Specific parameters of the operation:

Delete documents that are contained in a process file Enabled: Documents in process files will also deleted.
Cancel delete process
on error

Enabled: The deletion will be canceled if an error occurs.

Objects to be deleted

The objects are specified using an eSQL statement. You can use the actions menu to open a dialog for testing eSQL statements.

Cleaning Up Recycle Bins

Cleans the recycle bin for individual users or for all users. All objects in it will be permanently deleted.

An operation called 'Clean up recycle bins' with a value of seven days is created for all users during installation by default.

Specific parameters of the operation:

Specified in days

The value '0' deletes all objects.

Delete documents that are contained in a process file Enabled: Documents in process files will also deleted.
User

Only the recycle bins of the specified users will be cleaned up, and all objects in them will be permanently deleted.

If not specified, the recycle bins of all users will be cleaned up.

Cleaning Up Access Logs

Clears the access log.

Access logging must be enabled in yuuvis® RAD management-studio: Main menu > System > Settings > Core service > Global > Server > Enable dms access log.

Specific parameters of the operation:

Older than Specified in months
Special actions Enabled: Only remove the access logs of actions that are not marked as a special action. Several actions are marked by the system as particularly important actions.

Notifying About System Events

Configuring a message regarding the expiration of the license and updating license via the license service. You can check whether a new license is available in the license service. If a new license is available, it can be deployed and activated.

Specific parameters of the operation:

    If a new license is available from the license service, the license will be staged.

    The staged license can be compared with the active license and activated:

  • Check and automatic activation

    If a new license is available from the license service, the license will be activated.

Notify about the expiration of the license Activated: Administrative e-mails are sent 30 days before the license expires.

The license key and address of the license service must be specified in yuuvis® RAD management-studio: Main menu > System > Settings > Core service > Global > Server > License. You can request and receive a specific license key. The address of the license service is prepopulated. The license service must be accessible. Data is transferred when connecting to the license service:
