Displaying Documents

enaio® webclient 12.0 »

Documents filed in enaio® can be opened directly with the default program configured in Windows or the app configured in Android or iOS using the context menu command Show content icon Show content, without checking them out.

The function is also available for e-mails, references, variants, and archived documents. The documents are downloaded to the local operating system and, when possible, displayed in read-only mode. If the user disables write protection and edits the document, the changes are saved only in the locally downloaded file.

The function is not available in the recycle bin or for documents without a type in internal tray or workflow files.

To display document content, follow these steps

  1. Select a document you want to display (e.g., from a hit list, a location, or a workflow file).

  2. Open the context menu.

  3. Click or tap on Show content icon Show content in the context menu.
