Installation
enaio® Outlook Add-In NG is installed and updated via the enaio_outlook_addin_ng.msi file from the \Frontend\Outlook Add-In NG directory.
enaio® Outlook Add-In NG 12.0.6
The service release contains the following changes, in addition to bug fixes.
Converter
With enaio® Version 12.0, the Outlook converter was activated for new installations of enaio® Outlook Add-In NG instead of the previous default converter.
With enaio® Outlook Add-In NG 12.0.6, the more stable default converter is once again activated for new installations.
This converter is activated via the following registry entry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\OPTIMAL SYSTEMS\enaio\enaio Outlook Add-In NG > SaveAsConverter > 1031
Converters have an impact on the syntax of transferred e-mail addresses and thus potentially on the sorting in hit lists.
Example:
Default converter (1031): First name Last name <firstname.lastname@domain.com>
Outlook converter (1030): "First name Last name" <firstname.lastname@domain.com>
The MSI installation parameter SaveAsConverter=1030 allows you to activate the Outlook converter during new installations.
Updates of enaio® Outlook Add-In NG do not change the converter.
