Properties of Rights Group Controls
Rights group controls correspond to text fields with Rights Group Add-on with one difference: Entries in permissions group controls are always verified by checking them in enaio® client against the current user and group data. You can also use the 'Batch change of rights group fields' automatic action for rights group controls. This action can be used to change the index data of fields of rights group control, for example to remove users who have left or to add new users.
A rights group control opens a dialog, from which OS users and user groups can be selected. Use this control and corresponding clauses for access rights, which are set using enaio® administrator, to manage access rights for indexing. For example, access to an object can be restricted to users of a certain configured group or to individually listed users if a field is indexed using this permissions group control.
Similar to fields with rights group add-ons, rights group controls can be configured on the Add-on tab using the same extra entries.
