Assigning a Location to Documents in the Filing Tray

enaio® client 11.10 »

The filing tray is used for caching documents that have not yet been assigned to a document type and do not yet have a location in the enaio® filing system. This is also the reason why numerous functions of enaio® client are not available to you in the filing tray.

If you want to use one of the functions mentioned, you must assign a location to the corresponding document, that is, move it to a folder or register. The exact procedure depends on whether it is a document with or without object type. You must first assign an object type to documents without a type before you can move them to a folder or register.

Once you have assigned an object type to the document, you can move it to the desired folder or register.

The content of the enaio® client filing tray is synchronized with the content of the internal tray of enaio® webclient, enaio® webclient as a desktop application, and enaio® mobile and vice versa.

enaio® supports file extensions containing more than ten characters and Unicode characters.
Please note that the maximum supported file size depends on a number of a different factors. This includes the file type, the file content, the specific use case, and the client used.
