Changing Query Depths
The query depth in enaio® coLab is the number of folder levels below the root object. The query depth is limited to ten. This means that up to nine folder levels below the root object can be synchronized and shown in a project room.
Only a project room owner and project members with a corresponding user-defined role can change the query depth. By changing the query depth, the scope of the directory structures and files in the project room that are synchronized and shown between enaio® and enaio® coLab is increased or decreased. No directory structures or files in enaio® are deleted by decreasing the query depth. The directory structures and files are only no longer shown and synchronized in enaio® coLab. These directory structures and files are synchronized and shown again if the query depth is increased later on.
To change the query depth, follow these steps
-
In enaio® coLab, open the project room whose query depth you want to change.
-
Open the settings view in the project room by clicking the Settings icon in the coLab bar.
-
Open the Advanced settings area.
-
You can use the arrow buttons to change the query depth in the Advanced settings area.
-
If you increase the query depth, then, if there have been corresponding folder or register levels created in enaio®, these, including the files they contain, are synchronized and shown in the coLab project room.
-
If you decease the query depth, then, if there have been corresponding folder or register levels created in enaio®, these, including the files they contain, are no longer synchronized and shown in the coLab project room. The folder and register levels, including files, that are no longer shown are not deleted in enaio®.
