You can download files and folders in the files view. All project members have the permission to download. Regardless of their origin and type, all files and folders can be downloaded to the local file system.
Downloading Individual Files
You can download an individual file by clicking the 
'Download file' icon behind the corresponding file in the directory structure in the files view. After clicking the 'Download file' icon, depending on the settings in your browser, you will be offered the selected file for download or for opening with the locally configured application.
Downloading Multiple Files or Folders
Use the checkboxes in the first column of the directory structure to download multiple files or folders including files. Activate a checkbox in front of the files or folders that you want to download. If you activate the checkbox in the column header, all files in the project room, including folder structures, are downloaded to the local file system.
After you have marked all files and folders, click the Download files button in the footer of the directory structure. Depending on the settings in your browser, the marked files and folders are offered for download in a *.zip archive or for opening with the locally configured application.
If the features described above are not available to you, then it may be because you have been assigned a user-defined role that does not contain the corresponding rights. Contact a coLab administrator or the project room owner if you have any questions or if you need these rights.
