Capturing Documents Using enaio® office-365-dashlet
If your enaio® system is configured accordingly, you can also capture documents using enaio® office-365-dashlet.
enaio® client provides support for editing Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files using Microsoft Office 365. Older Microsoft file formats (*.doc, *.xls, *.ppt, etc.) must be converted to the newer Microsoft file formats (*.docx, *.xlsx, *.pptx, etc.) before they can be edited.
You need to have an Microsoft Office 365 account, including your login credentials. The document to be edited must be a W-Document that can be edited using Microsoft Office 365.
To capture documents using Microsoft Office 365, follow these steps

Open a folder or a register.

Create a document without pages (see Documents Without Pages) by using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+H to open the menu for selecting the document type.
Alternatively, you can open the selection menu by clicking the arrow to the Object button while pressing the shortcut Ctrl+Shift on the Start ribbon tab or select New from the context menu.
The menu containing the configured document types will open.

Select the object type that was configured by your administrator for collaboration using Microsoft Office 365.
The index data form now opens.

Complete the index data form.

Click Save.
The document without pages is created and shown in the content area of the filing location.
Documents without pages are not flagged with an archiving icon, but with the following icon: .

Make sure that the document without pages that you just created remains marked in the content area and open the Actions ribbon tab in enaio® office-365-dashlet.
If you have not opened enaio® office-365-dashlet yet, use the Office 365 button to open it via the View ribbon tab in the Areas group.
The buttons Word, Excel, and Power Point will be shown in enaio® office-365-dashlet.

Click the desired file format and then click Save in the dialog that follows.
The Login dialog for Microsoft Office 365 opens in the dashlet.

Log in to Microsoft Office 365 and enter your Microsoft Office 365 login credentials.
Once you have logged in successfully, the correct application (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for the selected file format will be shown in the dashlet.

Edit the document in the dashlet.
You can undock the dashlet from enaio® client and move it to its own monitor to improve the editing experience of the document (see Position of Workspace Elements).
The object ID and the save status of the document will be shown in the header of the application. Changes will be automatically temporarily saved and sent to enaio®.

You can stop editing the document by clicking a different entry in the object list in the folder, for example, in the enaio® client workspace.
Alternatively, you can also exit enaio® office-365-dashlet by clicking the Close icon in the dashlet.
The edited document will be filed in the empty document object in enaio® and shown in the content area of the folder in enaio® client.
enaio® supports file extensions containing more than ten characters and Unicode characters.
Please note that the maximum supported file size depends on a number of a different factors. This includes the file type, the file content, the specific use case, and the client used.
