Licenses

enaio® repository-manager 11.0 »

Licenses must not only be imported with enaio® enterprise-manager but must also be integrated into the 'license' service.

The 'LR3' and 'ILM' licenses are integrated into the 'license' service by default.

The following connector licenses must also be integrated for each configuration: J2E, D2E, D2S, DOC.

You integrate the licenses via the license-prod.yml configuration file located in the \config directory of enaio® service-manager.

license-prod.yml

  • Create the license-prod.yml file in the \config directory of enaio® service-manager.

  • Enter the following into the file:

  • license:
      modules:
        - name: SMU
          number: 4
        - name: WEB
          number: 1000000
        - name: LR3
          number: 15
        - name: ILM
          number: 10
        - name: MAS
          number: 10
        - name: J2E
          number: 1
        - name: D2E
          number: 1
        - name: D2S
          number: 1
        - name: DOC
          number: 1
  • Restart the 'license' service.

The license-prod.yml file must also contain all licenses managed by the 'license' service as standard. These are: SMU, WEB, LR3, ILM, MAS.

Workstation-bound Seat Licenses

If the 'LR3' and 'ILM' licenses exists as workstation-bound seat licenses, then they must be assigned to the station on which enaio® service-manager is running with the 'license' service in enaio® enterprise-manager.

Update Notes

As of enaio®, version 11.0 checks enaio® repository-manager licenses via the 'license' service. If existing 'LR3' and 'ILM' licenses exist as workstation-bound seat licenses and have already been imported in enaio®, then they must be reassigned to the station on which enaio® service-manager is running with the 'license' service in enaio® enterprise-manager.

For example, you determine the necessary station after the update as follows:

  • Start enaio® enterprise-manager.

  • Open the Advanced Administration > Monitoring > Job Calls area.

  • Enable subsequent instances and enter license.

  • Click Start monitoring.

  • Restart the 'license' service.

Now the list shows from which station the 'license' service requests licenses.

    You can stop monitoring.

  • Assign the 'LR3' and 'ILM' modules to the station shown via the Licenses area.

  • Restart the 'license' service.
