Service Release 1 / Hotfix 1
The service release 1 hotfix 1 of enaio® webclient is a service release for troubleshooting.
Service release 1 for enaio® webclient contains bug fixes and the following new features:
Recycle Bin
enaio® webclient version 10.10 has a recycle bin function with service release 1.
The recycle bin is accessible from the private desktop in the main menu. Folders, registers, and documents deleted by the user are displayed in the recycle bin in the form of a mixed hit list. The hit list can be sorted, grouped, and filtered like other hit lists in enaio® webclient. An additional column indicates the deletion date.
The details preview shows the index data as well as any existing notes of a selected object in the recycle bin. The areas for history, workflows, and follow-ups in the details preview are hidden.
Deleted objects can be permanently deleted from the recycle bin via the context menu. The Open location function, with which users can show the former filing location of the deleted object, is available in the context menu for selected registers or documents in the recycle bin.
Registers and documents can be reinserted in the original location using the Restore function in the context menu. The function is also available for folders. Folders and registers can be restored, with or without content, depending on your selection.
Hit List Card View
In addition to the table view, users of enaio® webclient and enaio® webclient as a desktop application have a new card view available in hit lists. For this purpose, the header area of the individual views was revised and adapted to the new design. Users can switch between the Table view and the new
Card view via the
More actions menu. If a user selects a card in the card view, the context menu is available for it. The context menu can be opened by the user via the
Actions menu on the card or via the right mouse button.
The card view will be the default view for object lists in the future. Accordingly, all hit lists are initially displayed in the card view after an update.
The user has the option to switch back to the table view for hit lists. The setting is stored in the as.ini file.
The card view is not available on smartphones. enaio® mobile will support the card view on tablets from version 11.0.
Revised Icons
The default icons for object types have been revised and are much easier for users to recognize and distinguish.
Content Preview – New Design for Placeholders
The placeholder for documents in the content preview where the PDF rendition is not yet available has a new design and additionally offers the option Reload preview.
Navigation in Tables
Two modes have been implemented in index data forms for quick navigation within tables in order to improve the accessibility of enaio® webclient. The write mode (indicated by a blue line at the bottom of the cell) and the navigation mode (indicated by a gray border around the cell). In the navigation mode, users use the arrow keys to navigate. The Tab key (↹) is available to users for navigation in write mode. It is activated using the space bar or by direct input. A new row can be added by pressing Enter in the bottom table row.
Sending E-Mails – SMTP Server Configuration
An SMTP server is integrated for the functions Send e-mail > Link and Send e-mail > Content. Global authentication and an encryption method can be configured for this integration in order to increase security.
The e-mail address will be prepopulated for the user as the sender when sending if it is specified in the enaio® administrator user management.
