Properties of Buttons

enaio® editor 10.10 »

Users can execute 'events' using the buttons. 'Events' are designed specifically for you by OPTIMAL SYSTEMS or are created using enaio® editor-for-events.

If a user opens a data sheet as read-only, events linked to buttons will not be executed.

Name

The name of the button will always be displayed horizontally and vertically centered on the button if no icon is assigned. If you enter the character '&' in front of a letter, the user can use the keyboard shortcut ALT+LETTER to execute the event. enaio® client uses ALT+A on search forms for the Start search function and ALT+E on the data forms for the Save function. If you assign these keyboard shortcuts via field names, these are given priority.

X position element/Y position element

You specify the coordinates for the upper left-hand corner of the button in the form. Values between '-2000' and '2000' are allowed.

Element width/element height

You can specify the width and the height of the button in the form. Values between '0' and '2000' are allowed.

Dialog element visible

You can hide buttons. This property can be edited via events, for example, regardless of the context.

Tab position

The tab position of the button in the form is entered in this row. The position can be edited using the layout functions.

Icons

Click on the line to open the Icon assignment dialog. There, select the desired icon for the button.

If an icon is included, then the name is not displayed.

Keyboard shortcuts and icons cannot be combined.
