Configuring enaio® data2s
Once you have installed and registered enaio® data2s, you now need to configure the component. SAP-specific settings are stored in a central configuration file in enaio® server.
axdata2sap.cfg is generally located in the server\etc directory.
A different ETC directory may also be referenced. This can be viewed in Enterprise Manager under Server Group > Application Server > Settings > Server Information.
Therefore, it is sufficient to perform this configuration once per server.
The configuration interface is launched in the client32 directory of an enaio® client installation using the following command:
axData2SAP config
The configuration interfaces contains the following tabs:
-
General
The 'General' tab is divided into three areas:
-
COM component (not currently in use)
SAP Configuration
This is where you enter settings for access to one or more SAP systems.
When calling the component in a script, the name of a configuration on which the actual login credentials are then based is specified. These can be maintained here.

The values entered in the Settings area can be added if a technical cabinet has been selected in the Object definition area.
The links listed in the Configurations area can be edited or deleted using context menu commands.
Manual Connection to enaio®
enaio® data2s typically logs in on enaio® server with the same user as enaio® client. This is done using an active enaio® client or an automatic login set up for the current user.
However, this means that this user must also be assigned rights to store documents in the technical cabinet. If you do not wish to do this, enaio® data2s can also use a dedicated enaio® technical user for logging in to enaio® server.
These login credentials can be managed in the Manual connection area in the configuration interface.
