Administration Console

The administration console enables you to carry out enaio® webclient administrator tasks within a web browser.

Administrators are able to edit basic application settings and tailor the functionality of enaio® to meet users' needs and adjust to the specific work environment of web applications.

Most of the settings for enaio® webclient are configured via the administration page, however, some key settings depend on the access rights of the technical user.

The administration console can be opened in a browser via the URL http://<osweb-host:osweb-port>/osweb/adminConsole.do. User and password of the technical user for the login are specified during installation.

The administration console can only be accessed via the enaio® webclient web server.

If an individual name for the web application was entered during the installation with the setup file, open the administration console via the following URL: http://<osweb-host:osweb-port>/<web_application_name>/adminConsole.do

The name and password of the technical user, which are specified during installation, are used to log on to the administration console. If you applied root/optimal during installation, then you need to change the technical user after logging on for the first time.

Parameters: com.os.osdrt.appserver.mainuser and com.os.osdrt.appserver.mainuserpwd.

The administration console is divided into two areas – the configuration parameters and their descriptions on the left and the parameter values that you can change on the right.

The following actions are available:

  • Save – Save changes without applying them immediately.
  • Apply – Save changes, which are applied immediately.
  • Log out – Log out of the administration console.

Users who are logged in to enaio® at the same time may experience problems if you make changes to the configuration, the object definition, or the technical user's access rights. This is easily solved; the users simply need to log in again.

The language in which the administration console is shown depends on the language setting of the browser. It is available in German and English. The administration console will be shown in English if a different language is used by the browser.
