Default Actions
When you double-click a document, for instance in a hit list, in the favorites area, or for object references, this can trigger various actions referred to as default actions. Your administrator determines what action is triggered.
One of the following default actions can be configured by your administrator:

The index data form of the document is opened for editing.

The index data form of the document is opened for viewing.

The document file is checked out and downloaded.

In the case of image documents (color/grayscale images, etc.), a dialog opens where you can edit the content.

In the case of W-Documents, the document is downloaded immediately.

A warning message will be shown if the document is already checked out.

The document file is made available for download.
If a document contains multiple document files, these will be combined in a ZIP file during the download process.

The document file is made available as a PDF for download.
In the case of image documents, each image is additionally marked with a watermark.
The following applies to all actions for which the document file is offered for download: In the case of documents without content, or if the user lacks the necessary rights, the index data form of the document is opened for editing.
Default actions are not supported on tablets and smartphones in enaio® mobile and enaio® webclient.
